With all the work they have done in their final days in space, crew members of space shuttle Discovery have been few activities to be completed prior to greet their colleagues in the International Space Station.

The last day for both crews started at 0823 UTC, with the song Wake Up, "Spaceship Superstar" by Prism. It was chosen for all the crew from the Discovery team of flight controllers who have assisted during the night for the entire mission.
The crews of the shuttle and station will greet and close the doors of their vehicles at 2033 UTC. Before the ceremony, Mission Specialists Alvin Drew and Steve Bowen move suits and tools used during two spacewalks of the mission back to Discovery.
For the commander Steve Lindsey, Pilot Eric Boe and Mission Specialists Michael Barratt and Nicole Stott as the last transfer of work for the mission, carrying the few items remaining on the list of transfer to Discovery for return to Earth. Bowen and Barratt is also preparing a checkout of some of the systems and tools that will be used during removal of Discovery from the station which will take place Monday.
Meanwhile, the station commander Scott Kelly completed the repair work that began yesterday sull'Oxygen Generation System flight engineer Cady Coleman will work on an experiment that studies how varied the height of the astronauts while in space.
Most of these operations will take place in the morning, leaving in the afternoon crew a few hours free to relax before saying hello.
The crew of Discovery will begin its sleep period at 0023 UTC.
