Discovery undocked from the ISS at 1200 UTC, ending a stay of eight days, 16 hours and 46 minutes.

Lindsey, Boe, and Mission Specialist Alvin Drew, has dedicated most of their day for the inspection standard heat shield and reinforced carbon-carbon surfaces. Using the robotic arm and its extension of 15 meters with sensors, started to monitor the hours after 1600 UTC with the verification of the right wing.

The next inspection has verified the nose and was followed by a look to the left wing. Images and data analysis were sent to Earth for evaluation by experts. Checking that nothing has been no damage to the system thermal protection while in orbit, Discovery's.
